What A Little Gentleman

I have a friend who is having a baby boy soon, and I thought a few bow-ties would be a cute gift for her. I found a very simple tutorial on Pinterest. I adjusted the measurements a little to make the bow-ties a bit smaller (3-6 months). Hers are a little bit bigger than I would like. She also used interfacing, which I preferred not to use. I found them to be a little too bulky with the interfacing inside. Here are the fabric measurements I used:

Bow: 8" by 4"
Neck strap:  13" by 2 1/2"
Center: 2" by 2"
Velcro: I just cut a little piece that fit well.

I followed her instructions found HERE.

You will notice the bows pictured below are different sizes. The chevron bow & blue bow were made using my measurements, and the polka dot bow was made using the original measurements.

The Geranium Dress

I have been dying to make a little dress for Olivia, and I finally found the perfect pattern. I used the Made By Rae: Geranium Dress pattern. The pattern is very simple, so fun to get creative with and comes in size 0-5T so I will be getting a lot of use out of it. More dresses to come, and maybe even one in my size too!

It's Fall Y'all

This year I really wanted to make a cute wreath for fall. I found a couple of ideas on Pinterest that I loved and combined them all into one. I used this tutorial and then added a few extra things to mine. Enjoy!

Mr. & Mrs. Bean

Last Saturday I hosted a shower for the soon to be Mrs. Bean. I am so happy for her! I am so sad that I will be missing her wedding (it's right around the time baby will be due), but I know she will be a BEAUTIFUL bride. The shower was a hit, we played some fun games and enjoyed good company.

A Giant Canvas

I have been waiting to print this bad boy for quite some time now. I LOVE it! It just so happens that today is also our twenty two month anniversary. What perfect timing. Check out Heritage Makers to make your own!

Pointy Kitty

As a lover of cats, I had to make this little guy for my nursery when I found him online. I used this free pattern. It was so simple to make and only took about an hour. How cute is he?

Car Seat Cover

With baby girl just two months away, I have been furiously working on lots of baby projects. I just recently finished her car seat cover and I couldn't be happier with it. I used this tutorial to make it. It looks like its going to be a little small but it turned out to fit perfectly.
