Girls Camp!

After six months of planning and meetings, girls camp finally arrived. Camp Mia Shalom was the place. James drove up to camp with the other leaders and I to help set up our site for the week. We couldn't have done it with out him and Mark. Next day- 6 am we are told we need to get the girls out, we are evacuating camp because a fire is getting too close. WHAT!? Yes. We got the girls up and out, then 4 leaders and I cleaned and packed up the rest of our site. We then ran home, had another meeting and re-planned everything. New campsite (thanks to Mandy), new activities, and called all the girls. James volunteered with several others to go up that night and set up all the tents. Thursday morning we packed up AGAIN, and headed up. CAMP WAS AWESOME. It really was such a blessing in disguise. We have the greatest girls in our ward and I really got to know all of the leaders so well. Not to mention James came the whole time and was such a great sport. (He has pink, glittery toe nails ;) ).
